TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ENROLMENT POLICY
Enrolment at Prima Ballet Academy (PBA) is ongoing. At the end of the term, student enrolment is automatically carried over to the corresponding classes for the following term.
If a student wishes to withdraw, notification is required during term holidays in order to process the final payment and cancel the direct debit.
IMAGE RELEASE
From time-to-time, Prima Ballet Academy releases images/videos of our dancers for social-media/marketing purposes. Examples of the types of images we release can be found on our website and social media. Enrolment assumes consent to the release of these images. If you do NOT agree to the release of your dancer's image, email primaballethobart@gmail.com advising of this.
UNIFORM POLICY
Prima Ballet Academy uses a Royal Academy of Dance approved uniform. By enrolling, you agree to wear only the uniform items detailed in the Prima Ballet Academy Student Handbook.
FEES POLICY

Tuition is paid via fortnightly direct debit instalments.

Tuition fees do not include private lessons, examination fees, or masterclass fees.

Strictly no refunds are available once paid.

Due to the direct debit cycle, cancellation of enrollment is required to take place within term holidays.

Failed Direct Debit payments incur a $10 dishonor fee.

Where payment terms are not adhered to, debt collection and legal costs will be claimed as part of recovery of amounts due.

Fees must be paid regardless of attendance.

Private classes that are cancelled at least 12 hours prior to the lesson will incur no fee.

Private classes that are cancelled between 2-12 hours prior to the lesson will incur a 50% fee.

Private classes that are cancelled less than 2 hours prior to the scheduled lesson will incur a 100% fee.
CONCERT POLICY
Each year the Prima Ballet Academy presents a concert as an opportunity for all of our students to perform on stage for their family and friends. This is an extremely exciting event for all of our dancers. By enrolling at Prima Ballet Academy you agree to;

Participate in the annual concert.

Purchase or hire costumes as necessary.

Attend one dress rehearsal.
We do our absolute best to ensure the concert (including costumes) is as affordable as possible for all of our ballet families.
The concert is the only event that all students are expected to attend.
EXAMS POLICY
Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) exams are a privilege that Prima Ballet Academy students have the opportunity to participate in due to having a qualified ballet teacher.
Exams are OPTIONAL.
In order to be eligible to undertake an exam students must;
Adhere to all school policies
Have a strong and consistent record of at least 80% attendance.
Have no outstanding fees.
Attend 2 compulsory RAD masterclasses relevant to the grade they are currently undertaking.
