TWINKLE TOES TODDLER BALLET
Movement, music, and magic for children aged 18 months - 5 years.
These are lively dance classes for children, taught by a fully qualified Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet teacher. Classes are designed to develop physical skills and encourage creativity, expression and confidence.
Through participation in appropriate learning activities, children learn:
to move with control, coordination and confidence,
an awareness of their body and how it moves through space,
a sensitivity to music, and
expression of emotions through movement.
And, behind all the fun, they’ll actually be prepared for a transition to ballet and other dance genres at higher levels.

Twinkle Toes Toddler Ballet costs $13 per week, paid in one sum at the beginning of each term.
Due to the fact that most of the classes book-out quickly, there is no option for casual enrolment.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS
Children are required to have a parent/guardian to remain in the studio for the duration of the lesson. Parental assistance may be required for younger children. The attending parent/guardian is wholly responsible for the safety of their child and any younger siblings in attendance.
WHAT TO WEAR
Dancers can wear whatever they are most happy in. Some dancers will wear a ballet outfit, some will dress up as their favourite character, and some will wear whatever it is they are going to be wearing for the rest of the day.
PERFORMANCES
Due to their young age, Twinkle Toes Toddler Ballet dancers are not required to participate in any performances.
WHAT COMES AFTER TWINKLE TOES TODDLER BALLET?
Petite Primas
The Prima Ballet Academy's Twinkle Toes Toddler Ballet program is a perfect first step in dance and progression into our higher grades. This program equips all young dancers with the skills necessary to move into our more structured ballet classes once they start to demonstrate a desire for less play and more of a challenge. This usually occurs at around the age of 4, though all children are different.

Our Petite Prima classes are the next step after Twinkle Toes Toddler Ballet. These classes still involve the use of props and imagination, but in the more structured setting that children in this age group prefer.

With ballet uniforms, a dance in our annual showcase and the opportunity to participate in ballet presentations, these are the classes where children see themselves turning into "real ballet dancers".
